摘　　要：本文从事件框架、信息传递、意志性、语体风格等多个角度阐释了形式动词句式有别于普通主动宾句的独特表达功效。这种表达功效主要表现在四个方面:形成特定的事件框架;扩展事件信息;传达言者意志、增强语势;形成书面正式语体。Sentences with dummy verbs, compared with those SVO-ordered ones, are a kind of unique construction with specific expressive functions This paper studies their specific expressive functions from multi-perspectives including event frame; information transmission, intentionality and style. The sentences with dummy verbs witness four categories of functions ： 1 ） to form specific event frame, 2 ） to enrich the event information, 3 ） to express speaker＇ s intention and enforce the strength, and 4） to fit into the formal written system.
