摘　　要：课堂提问是英语课堂教学中师生互动的主要方式，也是英语课堂的有机组成部分。课堂提问可以激发学生学习的主动性，引导学生积极思考，培养学生的分析能力从而达到掌握英语知识的目的。针对目前英语课堂提问中存在的问题，可以从提问应遵循的原则和问题的设计策略等方面探讨英语课堂教学中提问的艺术。Questioning in class is the main method in English teaching in class. It＇s also organic constituent in English class. Questions in class can provoke students enthusiasm, encouraging their active thinking, fostering their ability of analyzing problems, and then mastering the English skill Consideration of the problems with questioning in class the article will give a discussion about the questioning skill, including rules which should comply to and tactics in designing questions.
