摘　　要：论文探讨《钟鼓楼》与“京味小说”及“寻根文学”的关系，回到其发表与出版前后的历史场域中去，清理日后作为文学史写作的“历史依据”的种种文学批评的声音。于批评与文学史的偏差中，探讨《钟鼓楼》在文学潮流中未成为一个典型l生存在的原因，并对其文学史定位进行再讨论。This paper explores the relationship among The Bell and Drum Tower, ＂novels of Beijing school＂ and ＂Roots Literature＂ by returning to the historical scene before and after its publication so as to clean up the vari- ous voices of literary criticism which could be employed as the historical basis for the writing of the literary history afterwards. Moreover, a probe is also made into the cause for The Bell and Drum Tower＇ s failure to become a typi- cal work of the literary trend amid the deviation of criticism and literary history, while an interpretation is presented of its orientation in the literary history.
