摘　　要：英语专业高年级英语教学中对学生批判性思维能力的培养,旨在增强学生的人文知识的积累,提高鉴赏和思辨能力。根据批判性思维的理论特点和高级英语课程的教学要求,可以在教学实践中采取相应的策略来培养学生的批判性思维能力。The paper tries to give a specific discussion on the cultivation of students＂ critical thinking competence in teaching English majors, the purpose of which is to strengthen students＂ accumulation of humanities knowledge and improve their appreciation and thinking competence. In accordance with theoretical characteristics of critical thinking and the teaching demands of the advanced Eng- lish course, it is applicable to adopt the corresponding strategies to cultivate the students＇critical thinking competence in practical teaching.
