摘　　要：长篇小说《上海》是横光利一在到访中国后的1931年完成的。这是日本作家唯一一次取材于"五卅运动"创作的小说,同时也被誉为新感觉派文学的集大成之作。近代以后的日本知识分子始终没有停止对半殖民地半封建的中国社会的探寻,小说《上海》实际上是日本知识分子从文学角度观察中国的一个重要方面。The novel Shanghai by Yokomitsu was finished in 1931 after he visited China. This is the only novel by a Japanese writer on the basis of the May 30th movement in China and it is a well-- known epitomized work of the new sensational school. The Japanese intellectuals never stopped exploring the semi--colonial and semi--feudal Chinese society since the modern period. The novel Shanghai in fact is one important aspect for Japanese intellectuals to observe China from the perspective of literature.
