摘　　要：UML是当前面向对象分析和设计过程中使用的一种建模语言,是重要的图形化建模工具。UML能让系统开发者用标准的、易于理解的方式表达出对系统正确、完整的认识,并有利于在开发团队中进行有效地沟通和共享。研究使用UML进行高校教材管理系统的建模,进行软件开发,可以缩短项目开发周期,降低了代码数量,提高了系统的可维护性。Nowadays, UML is an object-oriented analysis and design modeling language. It is an important modeling tool. It allows system developers to use standard and clear way for expressing the correct and complete understanding of system. And it is beneficial to conduct effective communication and sharing in the development team. In software development, the use of UML for Teaching Materials Management System modeling can shorten development period, reduce lines of code and improve maintainability of system.
