摘　　要：大学英语教学是独立学院应用型人才培养的重要组成部分,但是独立学院自身的很多因素致使独立学院的大学英语教学状况不容乐观。基于独立学院的生源及其语言学习的特点,把合作学习理论渗透到独立学院大学英语教学中,合理定位合作学习理论在独立学院大学英语教学中的实施模式,对独立学院的大学英语教学状况的改善,乃至独立学院的办学成效都将产生深远影响。College English teaching is an important part of applicable talents＇ cultivation in independent colleges. But the college English teaching is not satisfactory so far as the result of many internal factors in the independent colleges. Based on the characteristics of students and their language learning, cooperative learning theory is integrated into college English teaching in the independent colleges. And the integration mode of cooperative theory being positioned well in college English teaching in the independent colleges has a far-reaching effect on improving the college English teaching and education in the independent colleges.
