摘　　要：我国民办高职在新阶段需要由补充教育定位向选择教育定位转变。选择教育定位是民办高职的理想追求,且有利于其走出现实发展窘境。构建高职教育体系和打造高职教育特色是民办高职定位为选择教育的关键,前者有利于提升高职教育地位,后者有利于凸显教育类型品质。民办高职选择教育定位转变需要政府和高校形成合力,并采取有效措施加以保障。Private higher vocational technical institution＇s orientation in China need to change from supplementary education to alternative education in new phase.Alternative education is private higher vocational technical institution＇s ideal, meanwhile, it is avail of stepping out of developing awkward situation for the private institution.Building higher vocational technical edueation system and forming higher vocational technical education＇s character are keys for private higher vocational technical institution＇s alternative education orientation.To make alternative education from ideal to come true, government and private institution need work together and take some efficient tactics.
