摘 要:本文关注自然在现代性及其转折进程中的命运。早期现代哲学明显地表现为观念论(idealism),后期现代哲学大体上倾向于精神论(spiritualism),后现代哲学则坦然地接受了物质论(materialism)。后期现代性是早期现代性的延续,又是其突破;后现代眭既可能是极度现代性,也可能是对现代性的超越,而这种超越在很大程度上是向前现代』生的回归。超越也好,回归也罢,依据不同的视域,The Nature has three faces:divinity,humanity and thingness.The Nature has its thingness or materiality.This means it has its proper values,meanings and ends.The Nature has its divinity.This signifies that it obeys the divine values,meanings and ends.The Nature's divinity may be veil of its thingness or disguise of its humanity.The Nature has its humanity.This means that human's understanding or existence determines Nature's values,meanings and ends.The fundamental tensions lie between the Nature's thingness and its humanity,or between Nature and Human Nature.In the transition from ancient philosophies to modern philosophies and postmodern philosophies,there exists a change from Nature's thingness to its divinity and humanity,but finally a return from its humanity to its thingness with the theological turn in phenomenology being a symbol of it.
