摘　　要：近年来,因为过度迎合市场需求、以就业为导向,很多高职院校的英语专业偏离了"高素质技能型"人才培养目标,陷入"重技能、轻素质"的泥沼。正确理解高职人才培养目标的内涵,采取适当措施矫正偏差,才是高职英语专业发展的当务之急。In recent years, the English specialty in many higher vocational colleges have deviated from the ＂high quality and skilled＂ talent training goal, and fallen into a quagmire of ＂emphasizing vocational skills and ignoring comprehensive quality＂, as that its teaching should be guided by the market and the employ- ment is overemphasized. It is an urgent matter to understand the connotation of training goal of the higher vocational education, and rectify the deviated talent training goal.
