摘　　要：词化程度高低的四个级别依次是单纯词、派生词、合成词和短语。词化程度高的词汇在这一语言所属的文化中受到的重视高,而词化程度低的词汇受到的重视程度相对就低。词化程度的高低折射着民族的文化。当今世界随着地球村意识的加强,英汉词汇化程度在明显靠拢。The scale of lexicalization rates is monomorphemic word, derivative, compound and phrase. In a particular culture, a higher-lexicalized word receives a higher degree of attention and a lower-lexicalized word receives less attention. Therefore, different degrees of lexicalization reflect different cultural elements. In the current world, along with the strengthening of the ＂global village＂ awareness, degrees of lexicalization in English and Chinese are getting closer.
