摘 要:为了吸引更多的外国游客来中国旅游观光,欣赏神州美景、历史古迹及风土人情,就必须提升旅游外宣资料及导游词的英译水平。然而,目前旅游外宣资料及导游词的翻译尚存在诸多不足,更缺乏系统研究。功能翻译论认为翻译是一种目的性行为,为此方面研究提供了全新的视角。本文试图从功能翻译论的角度出发,通过对比中西方文化差异及分析旅游外宣资料和导游词的特点,继而探讨在翻译中文旅游资料及导游词时怎样处理表达中国文化底蕴的文化信息。nese Shenzhou To attract more foreign tourists to China for sightseeing, landscape, historical sites, and the local conditions make the exotic visitors appreciate Chi- and customs better, the translation of tourism materials and tourist guidances must be improved. However, there are still many insufficient points in the translation of tourism materials tourist guidances, which is in high need of systematical research. The Functional Translation Theory, which thinks that translation is an objective behavior, provides a new perspect for this kind of research. So, by analysizing of the characteristics of tourism materials and the tourist guid- ances, comparing with Chinese and western cultural differences, this paper tries to discuss how to deal with Chinese cultural expressions and deposits in translating these materials from functional translation persnective.
