摘　　要：20世纪以来,人类文明的发展普遍遭遇被物化、被异化的生存境遇,人类的精神困境也由此而生。马非与艾略特的诗歌从多角度、多层面呈现了现代人的信仰危机、情感纠结、思想焦虑,为我们重新思考人生的意义、叩问生命的本真价值、透视生活的深层底蕴提供了解读资源。对他们的诗歌做出比较阐释,更可彰显中外诗人慧心相通、诗意相契这一文学命题。Since the 20th century, man has suffered the spiritual predicament with the general materialization and alienation of the development of human civilization. Eliot and Mafei＇ s poetry not only exhibits modem people＇ s faith crisis, emotional entanglement and anxiety from various perspectives but also provides us with the interpretive resources whereby we speculate about the meaning of life, inquire about the true value of life and reveal the deep implications of life. The comparison of the characteristics of their poetry is aimed at manifesting such a literary proposition that Chinese and foreign poets are commonly interlinked with regard to artistic wis- dom and poetic understanding.
