摘 要:本文从语言与思维调控的视角考察了学习者中/英交流后就同一话题进行英文口述时通达目标语的情况,并探讨了母语在外语口语产出中的作用。12名英语中级水平的受试每两人一组,就选定的图片用中文交流,再分别用英语叙评;接着就另一幅图片又用英文交流再叙评。研究发现:1)交流所用语种影响受试口述中对目标语的通达;2)当更多通达英语时,受试主要表现为客体调控。研究表明,中级水平的英语学习者仍需借助母语进行有效思维调控。Based on the assumption that language is a mental mediating tool,this paper examines EFL learners' access to English in oral reports following interactions in Chinese(L1) and English(L2),with the purpose of exploring how L1 functions in L2 output.Subjects conversed in dyads in L1 about a picture,and then gave individual oral reports in L2;and subjects conversed in L2 about another picture before giving individual reports in L2.It is found that use of L2 during interactions facilitates access to L2 in reports.However,students with greater access to L2 in reports were more object-regulated.The results suggest that intermediate EFL learning is mainly mediated through the mother tongue.
