植根侨乡 培育办学特色:嘉应学院的案例

摘　　要：嘉应学院以顶层设计强化学校办学定位,通过不断调整学科专业与地方产业需求相对接,为培养服务地方的各类人才创设定向人才培养基地,为提升客家文化的研究水平建立专门机构,并将客家文化核心价值渗透于人才培养过程等举措,彰显了该校"植根侨乡,服务山区,弘扬客家文化"这一鲜明的办学特色,成为地方高校特色办学的一个可资借鉴与研究的案例。During the development of school-running characteristics, Jiaying University strengthened its orientation with overall planning, adjusted the discipline construction con- stantly according to the change of local industry demand, established the talent cultivation bases for trainning the practical talents, and integrated the core value of the Hakka culture into the talent cultivation through founding an institution for the Hakkas research. ＂Taking root in the hometown of overseas Chinese, serving the mountainous area and carrying forward the Hakka culture＂ is the school-running characteristics of Jiaying University, which offers a typical example for other local colleges and universities.
