摘　　要：本文基于一项在美国完成的名为"中国西安世界园艺博览会公示语翻译质量研究"的课题研究。(IRB Protocol#:11-09-009) 通过分析该课题的有效数据,本文认为西安世界园艺博览会中公示语翻译质量有待提高,并进一步指出,中国诗歌情结对于公示语翻译领域产生了负面影响力。This paper is based on the survey in America named Translation Quality of the Public Signs of the Horticultural Exposition in Xi’an, China.(IRB Protocol #: 11-09-009)By analyzing the data, the paper claims that the translation quality of the public signs in the Expo needs improving and Chinese poetry exerts a negative influence upon the field of public sign translation.
