摘　　要：我国的民族教育在半个多世纪的发展中,已初具规模,而民族教育对双语教育的发展又起着巨大的推动作用。实施双语教育是为了促使个人以至整个社会的进步与发展。本文将我国近半个世纪以来民族地区双语教育的历史及新疆双语教育的发展和历史进行梳理,旨在让同仁们对双语教育高度重视,同时也把双语教育与民族教育放在同等重要的地位。China＇s national education in more than half a century of development,has begun to take shape,the national education plays a huge role in promoting the development of bilingual education.Implementation of bilingual education in order to promote the progress and development of the individual as well as society as a whole.In this paper,the history of bilingual education in ethnic minority areas in the country nearly half a century,and the development and history of bilingual education in Xinjiang combing to colleagues attaches great importance to the bilingual education as important also to bilingual education and national education position.
