摘　　要：独立学院自身的特点决定其大学英语教学必须与其他本科院校有所区别。独立学院学生基础薄弱,使《大学英语》课程教学面临难题,教学改革刻不容缓。参考了各院校该门课程普遍采用的教学模式和教学方法,探讨如何进行因材施教,以便找到一条新的实施特色英语教学改革的新路子。With their unique features, independent colleges call for the different teaching styles from other ordinary colleges. Students enrolled are mostly poor in performance, which toasts a great challenge on English teaching, thus the reform on classroom teaching is in great need. By analyzing the generally adopted methods of English teaching in different colleges.this paper approaches a subject on how to teach students in accordance with their aptitude so as to break new paths of characteristic English teaching reform.
