A correlation study of social support, hope and the meaning of life among university students

摘  要:目的探讨大学生社会支持、希望与生命意义的关系,为学校开展心理健康教育工作提供科学依据。方法对320名大学生采用领悟社会支持量表、成人性情希望量表、生命意义感量表进行测评分析。结果大学生领悟社会支持量表评分与成人性情希望量表、生命意义感量表评分呈显著止相关(P〈0.01),成人性情希望量表评分与生命意义感量表评分呈显著正相关(P〈0.01)。中介效应检验表明,希望水平是社会支持影响生命意义感的不完全中介。路径分析表明,社会支持对希望的直接影响为0.43,希望对生命意义的直接影响为0.38,社会支持对生命意义的直接影响为0.40,希望的中介效应为0.1634,社会支持财生命意义的直接影响占71%,以希望为中介的影响占29%。结论希望是社会支持与生命意义的中介变量;社会支持对牛命意义的影响主要为直接影响,社会支持的获得有助于增强学生未来的希望,促进学生发现自身存在的意义。Objective To explore the correlation of social Support, hope and the meaning of life among university students in order to provide scientific basis for developing mental health education. Methods Assessments were carried out with the Perceived Social Support Scale (PSSS), Adult Dispositional Hope Scale (ADHS) and Meaning in Life Questionnaire (MLQ) among 320 university students. Results PSSS scores of the students were positively related to ADHS and MLQ scores significantly (P〈0. 01) and ADHS to MLQ scores (P〈0.01). Mediating effect test showed that hope level was an incomplete mediate effect of social support influencing the meaning of life. Path analyses showed that direct effect of social support on hope was 0.43, hope on the meaning of life 0.38, social support on the meaning of life 0.40, hope mediating effect 0. 1634, direct effect of social support on the meaning of life made up 71% and the effect of hope did 29%. Conclusion Hope is a intermediary variable of social support and the meaning of life; effects of social support on the meaning of life are direct, acquirement of social support contributes to strengthen students' future hope and promotes them to find themself the meaning of existence.
