摘 要:利用"神道"传统进行道德教化是话本小说叙事特色之一。话本小说中"神道"种类众多,神道叙事灵活,富于策略性。小说大力宣扬神道好恶及力量,以种种善恶报应来引导或警惧世人,或宣扬天命迷惑民众。神道叙事与小说人物命运的走向、情节的建构紧密结合,将世俗社会的伦理道德评价融入其中。神道叙事既暗应了统治者"神道设教"的意图,也增添了小说的趣味性、通俗性。明末清初拟话本小说"神道设教"的形式、策略及场域极大地影响了话本小说道德教化的效果。It is one of the outstanding characteristics of the vernacular novels to educate the people by superstition. There are various types of Shinto in the vernacular novels which handle the narration in a flexible and strategic way. The vernacular novels advocate vigorously immortals and ghosts, likes and dislikes, super power and retribu- tion to guide or alarm the people, and promote destiny to puzzle people. Plots of the Shinto narrative novels vividly unfold the characters' fate, and convey the moral evaluation of the secular society. Vernacular novels not only fulfilled the purpose of "Shen dao she jiao" (神道设教) secretly, but also make novels more interesting and popular. The forms,strategies and field of superstition cultivation have a great influence on the ethical education of the ver- nacular novels.
