摘 要:教育产生于人类生产和生活过程中,具有源于生活的品质,但作为一种专门的社会活动,学校教育与社会生产力的发展、文化的积累和科学的进步密切相关,又具有高于生活的品质。随着现代教育制度的产生,学校教育不同于一般社会活动的本质特征通过教育者、受教育者、教育目标、教育内容、教育教学方法和环境等基本要素更加凸显。审视近代以来的教育思潮,应以"扬弃"的态度与方式对待传统教育及其思想,发挥教育特有的作用,平衡知识教学与实践教学的关系,注重传承与创新科学文化知识,这是学校教育的本质所规定的教育学意义。遵循并顺应这一本质属性及其教育学意义,是发展学校教育、提升教育质量的根本要求。Education appeared in the process of human production and living. As a special social activity, schooling has a close relationship with the development of social productivity, the accumulation of culture and the progress of science, and also it has its attribute beyond the real life. With the establishment of modern educational system, this kind of attribute makes the nature of schooling differ fl'om general social activities, and that has become more and more prominent via educator, educatee, education goal, education content, education method and environment. Examining the trend of thought of education in modern times, we should treat traditional education and thought with the manner of "sublation" , give full play to the special function of education, balance the relationship of knowledge learning and practice, pay attention to the inheritance and innovation of science and culture knowledge. All of these are the significances oriented from the essence of schooling. It is fundamental requirement to comply with the attribute and significance of schooling to develop and improve its quality.
