摘　　要：钱锺书的翻译思想集中体现在翻译境界和翻译功用两个方面,其"化境说"给文学翻译设置了最高境界,给译本设置了最高标准,最终起到提高翻译质量的效果;其"媒诱说"认为翻译的功用是让读者对外国文学产生兴趣,从而使中外文学达到交流和借鉴的目的。二者在钱先生的翻译思想中看似矛盾实则协调统一,是合理的翻译理论。The translation theory of Qian Zhongshu is embodied in two aspects,that is,sublimation theory and media temptation theory.The former sets the highest level for literary translation and the highest standard for translation version, thus increasing the quality of translation in the end;while the latter emphasizes the function of translation is to arouse the readers＇ interests in foreign literature,thus promoting the exchange of Chinese and foreign literature and to learn from each other.The two theories are seemingly contradictory but in fact unified and harmonious,and both are reasonable translation theory.
