摘　　要：多萝西娅.麦凯勒(Dorothea Mackellar,1885～1968),澳大利亚作家,写过小说和诗歌,但以诗作成名。她的那首国颂诗作《我的祖国》(My Country)在澳洲家喻户晓。这首诗和澳大利亚国歌《前进,美丽的澳大利亚》(Advance,Australia Fair)及那首古老神秘的民间歌谣《背着行囊去旅行》(Waltzing Matilda)一样都深受澳洲人民喜爱,成为了最能体现澳大利亚人民热爱祖国的心灵献诗。全诗既有英语诗歌的传统韵律,又有诗风的质朴与自然。读者可从诗作的诵读中深切感受到诗人那颗炽热爱国心的跳动。Dorothea Mackellar（1885～1968） is an Australian writer and well-known in Australian for her very strong passionate poem My Country.This poem,as well as the Australian national anthem Advance Australia Fair and that old and mysterious folk song Waltzing Matilda which many Australians think of as their national song,has been deeply loved by the people in Australian and regarded as a lyric poem from their hearts.The whole poetry not only has the traditional rhyme in the English poetry,but also the simplicity and nature in the poetic style.When reading the poem,readers must feel the poetess＇s heart beating with her burning patriotism.
