摘　　要：《世界民间故事分类学》是美国民俗学家斯蒂·汤普森著作TheFolktale的汉译本,由郑海和郑凡等人翻译。该书对世界多个地区的民间故事进行了分类与阐述,在国际民俗学界有较大影响。该书汉译本对于我国民俗学研究具有十分重要的作用。然而汉译本中也出现了很多漏译和误译。本文将列举和分析该书第四部分第一章《有关民间故事的种种理论》的部分汉译问题,希望对读者有些帮助。The Folktale, a masterpiece by American folklorist Stith Thompson, which has been translated by Chinese translators such as Zheng Hai and Zheng Fan, makes a classification and description of the folktales in many parts of the world; therefore exerts tremendous influence among the international folkloric community and circle. The Chinese version still plays a major part for the study of folklore in China though not a few errors and omissions in translation greet its readers’ eyes. In this paper, the author is going to highlight some of these problems which occur in a variety of theories in Folktales, the first chapter of part four, and sincerely hope it may be of some help to Chinese readers.
