摘　　要：人们相互间的信息交流,总是以目光交流为起点。它是接触、承载和传递情感、态度、意向的重要媒介。目光语有深刻的历史和文化渊源,体现出明显的历史传承性、地域性和民族性。在跨文化交际中,既要了解各国文化的异同,弄懂他们对眼神运用所表达的意思和眼光显示出的特殊功能,又要尊重不同民族的目光礼仪规范和风俗习惯,避免因误会而造成的尴尬局面,以达到有效交际的目的。The eyes contact is the start point of communication. It is an important media which can express one＇s feeling, atti- tude and intention. The eyes language has a long history and culture origination, which is characteristic with historical tradition, locality and nationality. In the activity of cross - culture communication, the cultural commonness and difference of each nation not only should be understood but also the insight into the true meaning and intention of eye contact should be gained and the eti- quette and custom of eye contact should be respected in order to achieve the goal of communication.
