摘　　要：中国地方高校萌发于洋务运动时期,在清末新政中探索建立。民国初期,地方高校逐步在学制中确立了地位,并且随着学制改革的不断推进而稳步发展。国民政府时期,地方高校在国家控制不断加强的氛围中勉力维持发展。The regional colleges or universities in China thrive on the westernization and reforms by the end of Qing dynasty. Republic of China sees the establishment and development of the colleges in relation to the school education system. This is also clue to the governmental involvements.
