网络环境下大学英语机考实践与研究——以常熟理工学院大学英语机考为例

摘　　要：随着网络及多媒体技术在大学英语教学上的辅助作用日益提高,基于计算机的语言测试亦将逐渐成为测试的主导形式。本文以常熟理工学院大学英语机考的实践为例,概述了大学英语机考的理论依据;阐述了大学英语机考的可行性和必然性及其对于大学英语教学的反拨作用,并提出了一些改进机考的路径与方法。With more and more popularization of internet technology and computer-aided teaching in college Eng- lish, computer-based language testing （CBT） will become the mainstream of language testing. Taking the practice of Changshu Institute of Technology for example, this paper puts forward the solutions of improving CBT and fur- ther explains the feasibility and inevitability of CBT as well as its positive backwash to college English teaching.
