摘　　要：基于概念转喻理论,探讨转喻在整个翻译过程中的作用,并分析转喻翻译的原则,提出转喻翻译的具体策略。认为翻译是具有转喻性的认知活动,翻译过程中文本的理解和表达皆体现了"部分代整体"的转喻思维;同时指出概念转喻也是一种翻译策略。Based on the theory of conceptual metonymy,the paper explores its function in translation,establishes the guiding principles of metonymy translation and puts forward the specific translation strategies of metonymy accordingly.It argues that translation is a metonymic cognitive activity.Both the interpretation and expression of the text in translation embody the operation of metonymy PART FOR WHOLE.Meanwhile,it is found that conceptual metonymy is also a kind of translation strategy.
