摘　　要：文章以概念隐喻为理论基础,以中美两国现任领导人的政治演讲为语料,通过对比分析总结出英汉政治语篇中典型的概念隐喻,找出其异同点,并挖掘出两种语言出现概念隐喻差异的深层原因。本研究有助于理解不同文化在认知中的差异,有助于在英语教学中学生对语言的全面了解和掌握,同时对政治语篇的翻译也有一定的参考价值。Based on the Conceptual Metaphor Theory, this paper conducts a contrastive analysis of the politi- cal speeches by both Chinese President and American President so as to find out the general metaphorical concepts in both Chinese and American political speeches, exploring the deep causes of the similarities and differences between them. The results can offer some help to understand the cultural differences in the cog- nition, aiding students to master a language comprehensively in language learning and also the translation of political discourse.
