摘  要:在基于相对业绩比较的团队锦标赛机制中,提升自身努力水平和对竞争团队进行拆台是团队面临的两个可能的选择。论文利用男足世界杯的技术统计数据,综合运用因子分析、定序选择模型、二元选择模型等统计分析方法,研究努力行为、拆台行为与团队绩效之间的相互关系。研究结论表明,努力行为对团队绩效有显著的正向影响,而拆台行为对团队绩效的影响在统计上并不显著;随着竞赛层次的提升,拆台行为呈逐渐增加的趋势。In the team tournament based on relative performance comparison, there are two options for a team to choose: one is to exert more efforts and the other is to reduce output of the competing team by sabotage. Political tournament is a kind of typical team tournament mechanism. In the "team production" of local governments, sometimes local officials might adopt "beggar-thy-neighbor" policy to improve their own ranking (thus decreasing competitors' ranking) , which could cause market fracture and "lords economy". Since 1980's, in China we saw the fact that such problems are well illustrated by the phenomenon of industry competition among local governments, a rush in establishing "developing zone" and competing in making concessions when attracting foreign investments. From an international perspective, United States has constantly put pressure on the appreciation of Renminbi exchange rate, and European countries have taken many anti-dumping investigations and sanctions against Chinese products. However it turned out that such actions could not benefit even themselves. All the facts above aroused our interest in answering the following question: Can "beggar-thy- neighbor" policy or sabotage, in formal academic expression, really promote the performance of the team? In other words, does sabotaging others really benefit yourself? Using a sample of 256 teams' technology statistics of FIFA World Cup (2006 German World Cup and 2010 South Africa World Cup) , this paper is intended to study the relationship among efforts, sabotage and team performance. Combined with the multi-stage tournament promoting model, the methods we applied in this paper include factor analysis, ordered-choice model, binary choice model and other statistical analysis methods.
