摘  要:我国高校进行从双语到全英文授课模式的探索已经经历了十余年,但是目标与定位不明确,所采取的单纯"外语+学科"的模式收效甚微。超学科理念是学科间融合的最高层次,是各学科相互配合与协调的教育模式及研究方法。从超学科的视角可以厘清全英文授课模式的动因,有利于充分运用外语这项资源,培养学生兼备中西方的认知能力和思辨能力。The university education has experienced a trial for more than ten years from "Bilingual Education" to "Teaching with English as a Medium of Instruction". The mode of "Foreign Languages + Disciplines" is not so successful as expected due to the ambiguity of motivation and orientation. The notion of transdisciplinarity represents the highest level of cooperation and coordination between disciplines in education and research. From the transdisciplinary perspective, the motives of teaching with English as a medium of instruction are clarified to develop students' cognitive capability and critical thinking in both oriental and western contexts.
