摘　　要：本文以中国典籍中具有代表性的文本类型明清传奇为例,探讨中国典籍翻译理论体系的建构。具体来说,本文以描述性翻译研究、翻译转换、以翻译为目的的文本分析、翻译规范和基于语料库的翻译研究为理论基础,以扎根理论为基本方法,建立明清传奇英译的翻译原则及翻译模式。This paper explores the construction of the theoretical system of translation for Chinese classics through the case study of the Chuanqi drama of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Specifically speaking, this paper operates on the scientific foundation which integrates descriptive translation studies, translation shift, translationally relevant text analysis, translation norms and translation corpus, and it also applies grounded theory as the working methodology, with the aim of establishing the translation principles and the translation modes.
