摘　　要：语言与文化密不可分,在不同语言中,因文化背景的差异反映不同的文化内涵的主要方法之一是比喻。因此在英语的学习过程中,比喻的文化差异必须引起高度重视。通过举例从词汇多方面分析比较英汉比喻的文化差异,进而总结英汉互译的方法。Language and culture are closely related. Differences in culture always influence the features of language. As significant parts of language, figures of speech have different connotations under different cultural background. Hence, while learning figures of speech in English, we must pay highly attention to the cultural differences. This article is about contrast on the cultural differences of figures of speech between English and Chinese by exemplification, then some methods of translation concerning figures of speech .
