摘　　要：语篇连接一直是作文重要的质量指标,但此概念比较模糊,既难教也难学(Lee,2002)。本文通过分析现有二语写作连接研究,以期对二语课堂教学有所启发。文章首先概括以往研究指出的学生作文连接方面的具体问题,然后介绍针对这些问题所作的教学尝试,最后提出中国二语写作教学连接问题指导性原则。Coherence is always a fuzzy concept difficult to teach and learn （ Lee, 2002）. This paper intends to review studies on ESL writing coherence so as to shod light on classroom teaching. To achieve this purpose, ESL learners＇ coherence problems in writing are examined, followed with a report of four pedagogical models on teaching writing coherence to students. Finally, guidelines on teaching coherence in ESL settings are tentatively proposed.
