摘　　要：道家的鹪鹩代表知足寡欲、无用之大用等消极智慧,展示"正言若反"的思维特质与语言策略。美国诗人狄金森的鹪鹩意象与道家的鹪鹩有惊人的承接性。以安顿心灵为旨归,她赋予鹪鹩战胜苦难的精神力量、"小而无惧"的理想人格,并反用道家的鹪鹩。The wren in the tradition of Daoism exemplifies the negative wisdom of restraining desire and the Use of uselessness,displaying distinctively ＂reverse＂ thinking and linguistic strategy.Echoing Daoism,Dickinson invests the wren with an idealized personality characteristic by humility and compassion;she employs a restless wren to explore the wisdom of settling the mind,as if subversively revising the wren of Daoism.
