摘 要:赋予美德和罪恶以某种"应得",体现着人自身的本性与价值,也确认着对社会合理性与生活意义的追寻。亚当.斯密的伦理学,基于人类情感的"反应性态度",在功过与赏罚、应得与正义的语境中,既彰显了人对于美德的追求所体现的卓越,因而善应善报的生活秩序原理,也揭示了恶行应得惩罚的情感逻辑与实践法则。重新厘析这一论题,不仅有助于理解赏罚应得的伦理含蕴及其有效性的社会条件,对当下社会道德问题的解决也提供了有益的镜鉴。To endow virtue or vice with some kind "desert" embodies the nature and value of human be ings, and confirms the social rationality and the meaning of life. In the discourse of merit and demerit, reward and punishment, as well as desert and justice, the ethics of Adam Smith, based on the "reactive attitudes" of human sentiments, not only shows that excellence of man' s pursuing for virtue so that the good actions deserve reward, but also clarifies the logic of sentiment and the law of practice of the punishment of bad actions. The reinterpretation of this subject will help us to comprehend the ethical implications and the conditions of social validity of the good or ill desert, and provide us with a useful reference to solve some moral problems in con temporary society.
