摘　　要：建设世界一流大学一直是我国的一项重大战略举措,而大学校长对促进大学的发展起着至关重要的作用。随着我国公选大学校长试点工作的逐步开展,选拔什么样的人就值得我们去深入探究。本文通过对现有文献进行回顾与总结,发现不足,并在总结前人研究的基础上,进一步明确如何将高阶理论和胜任力模型引入该领域,为未来进一步完善我国大学校长选拔机制提供一些思路和建议。To build up the world class universities is always one of the major strategic measures for Chinese government, and presi-dents of universities play a vital role of promoting the develop-ment of universities. Accordingly, selecting what kind of candi-dates worth our deeper research. On the basis of reviewing and summarizing existing literature, and analyzing the drawback of existing related research, this paper is dedicated to clarifying fur-ther about how to induce the Upper Echelons Theory and Com-petency Model into this field, for the purpose of providing some thinking and suggestions for the future＇s selection of universities presidents.
