摘　　要：跨文化交际离不开文化移情能力,文化移情的实施过程受到定势的消极影响。由于自身认知局限,定势缺乏跨文化敏感性和文化顺应力,因此定势的存在阻碍了移情知觉能力的开发,消解了移情交际能力的效果,并最终影响跨文化交际成果。了解定势对文化移情能力的消解过程,才能尽量避免定势的消极作用,保证跨文化交际的顺利进行。Cultural empathy competence is critical to intercultural communication. The practice of cultural empathy competence could he interfered because of the existence of stereotype which, for its limited cognitive frame, behaves poor in respect of inter- cultural sensitivity and cultural adaptation. Stereotype could disable the practice of cultural empathy competence by disturbing its cognitive ability and counteracting its communicative effect, thus results in the failure of intercultural communication. An explo- ration to find out how stereotype interferes with cultural empathy competence could help avoid the negative influence and ensure the successful realization of intercultural communication.
