摘　　要：文化是历史的文化,不是一成不变的,而是发展变化的,作为文化的组成部分的语言也经历着发展与变化。翻译是两种文化的交流,在文化背景下探讨翻译实践,让我们意识到:我们不但要翻译新的作品,还要把时代变化的因素考虑进去,更新一些原译本中不恰当甚至是错误的地方,使翻译活动更具有时代气息,更好地实现文化的传播与交流。Culture is historical and develops with history. Language, the constituent part of culture,is also undergoing development and change. Translation is the communication between two languages, especially two cultures. To study translation on the historical cultural background makes us realize that we should not only translate new works, but we should update the existed translated works as well. Only by doing this can we correct the inappropriate even mistake part of the existed translation, which will make it have the sense of time and realize its goal of communication and dissemination of culture.
