摘　　要：讨论了一类四阶强阻尼非线性双曲方程utt-uxx-uxxt-uxxtt=f(u)的初值问题,证明了局部广义解的存在唯一性.In this paper, the existence and uniqueness of the local strong solution for the Cauchy problem of the forth - order hyperbolic equation with strong damping are proved.
