摘　　要：《红楼梦》中的服饰描写传递了我国传统文化,并反映出当时封建社会的风貌。从杨宪益、戴乃迭的《红楼梦》英译本中的服饰文化翻译入手,举出多处译例,从服饰的材质、图案和样式三方面,探究译者的翻译手法及原因。The dress description in A Dream of Red Mansions conveys Chinese traditional culture and reflects the scene and image of the feudal society then. This article starts from the dress culture translation in YANG Xianyi and Gladys Yang＇s English translation of A Dream of Red Mansions and classifies it into dress material, pattern and style with several translation illustrations so as to find out the means and reasons carried out by the translators.
