摘　　要：现代主义文学思潮虽然一直作为现实主义文学思潮的陪衬和余脉出现在中国现代文学史中,但也有其自身独特的艺术风格与存在理由。1920-1940年代的现代主义文学作品深入描写和记录了特殊年代中国人的真实心理感受以及部分都市人被异化扭曲的灵魂,在表现人物内心隐秘世界方面作了积极有效的艺术探索与实践。现代主义文学思潮以其特立独行的艺术姿态存在于20世纪前半叶的中国文坛,显示着自身的活力和影响。Although modernism literaturehas served as a subordinate torealistic literatureinthehistoryofmodern Chinese literature, it hasactuallyits ownunique artistic styleandreasons for existence. The modernistliteraturefrom 1920 to 1940has described andreeordedsubstantially therealpsychologieal feelingsoftheChinese peopleduring a special time and the twisted soul of someurban eitizenswho have been alienated, presenting apositive and effee-tiveartistic exploration and practice oftheinner hidden worldofthecharacters. Modernism literaturethought existed in the Chinese literary world in the first half of the 20th century in its unique way and demonstrated its self - vi- tality and influence at that time.
