摘　　要：多元智能理论是一种全新的有关人类智能结构的理论,为英语教学提供了一个全新的视角。它所倡导的开发学生的多种智能,与我国培养学生综合素质的理念非常吻合。将多元智能理论与英语教学相结合,探究多元化的英语教学方法,可有效开发学生的多项智能,促进学生全面发展。多元智能理论不仅为大学英语课堂教学提供了理论框架,也给英语教学带来很多启示。Multiple intelligence theory is a new theory about human intelligence structure and it pro- vides a new perspective for English teaching. Development of students＇ variety of intelligence it advo- cates is very consistent with the concept of cultivating overall quality of students in our country. Associ- ating of multiple intelligence theory and English teaching and exploring a wide range of English teaching methods can develop students＇ multiple intelligence effectively and promote the overall development of students. The theory of multiple intelligences provides not only a theoretical framework for college Eng- lish class teaching, but also brings a lot of inspiration to the English teaching.
