摘 要:在中国,英语是大多数人选择学习的第二语言,而普遍情况下中国学生都是在掌握了母语(汉语)的基础上才开始英语学习的。因此,掌握的新语言系统必然会受原有汉语知识的影响。英汉两种语言在语音、词汇、语法等层面存在着差异,并在一定程度上影响了外语学习。母语对英语教学有干扰的一面,但也有可以利用的一面。本文通过分析母语迁移与英语教学之间的关系,旨在寻找更有效提高英语教学质量的方法。In China, English is a majority of people's second lan- guage, but generally, Chinese students start to learning English on the basis of their mother tongue (i.e., Chinese), which will in- evitably influence their English learning. Besides, the differences of pronunciation, vocabulary anti grammar between English and Chinese also affect English learning. However, the mother tongue also plays an advantageous role. Through analyzing the relation- ship between the transfer of mother tongue and English teaching, this paper aims to seek effective methods to improve the quality of English teaching.
