摘　　要：语言运作机制——有限限定手段CP/AP无限限定NP/VP的表述——的提出及其教学实验是为建立具有我国本土特色的外语教学理论和模式提供经验基础和理论依据的探索。该研究定量和定性的分析结果表明:应用语言运作理论于外语教学的新方法是有效的;语言运作机制与写作、翻译和句子创造的运用能力密切相关;语言运作机制的认知对学习者的可持性和自主学习具有积极的后续效应作用。The paper first expounds the original theory of language operating mechanism infinite use ot the finite specifying means CP/AP in the expression of NP and VP and then reports the results of the teaching experiment, to which the theory has been applied with 68 English majors involved in it. The results of both data analysis and the questionnaire indicate the effectiveness of the new approach, the related relationship between the operating mechanism and the language use abilities, and the potential of the theory in further study of the target language.
