Reading Strategy Instructions and Their Impacts on Vocational College English Majors

摘  要:基于"高职英语专业学生经过显性阅读策略教学之后,策略的使用情况是否存在差异","高职学生的阅读策略使用频率与阅读测试成绩之间是否相关"2个问题,通过阅读策略教学前后的问卷调查、差异显著性检验和策略使用与CET-4的相关分析,证实阅读策略训练有助于学生培养个性化的阅读习惯,阅读策略训练效果与学生的语言水平有较强的关联。指出阅读策略训练必须遵循从单一训练到综合训练,从指导练习到半指导练习,再到独立练习的原则。To help students achieve their goals, the study focuses on two questions, that is, "whether there is a difference in strategy use by students after a dominant reading strategies teaching" and "whether there is a correlation between frequency of strategy use and reading performance". Based on questionnaire sur- vey before and after reading strategies instructions, test of the significance of difference and correlation analysis of strategy use and CET-4, it is proved that reading strategy training is conducive for students to explore their personalized reading habits and that there is strong correlation between the impact of reading strategies training and students' language proficiency. It is pointed out that reading strategies training must follow the principle that from simple training to comprehensive training, from coaching practice to half-coaching practice then to independent practice.
