摘　　要：英国文坛新秀扎迪·史密斯的作品《论美》引发评论界的热议,本文从美和审美的伦理意义角度研究该小说,发现故事中的人物都清晰明确地表达出他们对于美的态度,这种态度随即影响到他们的伦理道德行为。《论美》由此强调美在存在和认知中的伦理意义,并且倡导主体问性的审美体验和伦理态度。The novel On Beauty by British writer Zadie Smith has been frequently discussed by critics home and abroad.From the perspective of ethnical significance of beauty and aesthetics,this article conducts studies and finds out that the characters in the novel have definitely expressed their opinions towards beauty which consequently exercises an influence on their ethical behavior. Therefore,On Beauty attaches great importance to the ethical significance of beauty in the existence and cognition and the intersubjective aesthetic experience and ethical attitude are promoted.
