摘　　要：文章旨在探究高校专门用途英语(ESP)教学新模式,通过阐释计算机辅助翻译理论和介绍计算机辅助翻译软件的基本功能,分析了计算机辅助翻译理论用于高校专门用途英语教学中的可行性,指出计算机辅助翻译理论和相关翻译软件的应用不仅可以应用于专门用途英语的翻译领域,也可以作为一种新的专门用途英语的教学模式被高校采用,特别是在专门用途英语的词汇积累和提高阅读能力方面,计算机辅助翻译软件可以发挥极大的效用。This essay alms at exploring the new teaching model of the course of English for Special Purposes （KSP） in universities and colleges. This essay,via the explanation of the theories of computer- sided translation （CAT） and the introduction of the basic functions of the computer-aided translation software,analyses the feasibillty,namely, whether the computer-aided translation theories can be utilized in the education of the ESP courses in universities and colleges,and finally,points out that CAT theories and the relative translation software can be utilized not only in the ESP translation field,but also can be taken advantage of by universities and colleges as a new ESP teaching model, espeeially in the aspects of vocabulary accumulation and reading ability improvement.
