摘　　要：对于社会发展问题,人类社会面临的主要问题不在于其重要性探讨,而在于"寻求社会发展的力量之源"。中国古代社会关于社会发展力量之源的自然、人性与物欲等方面的探索虽然是特定历史背景下的现实思索,反映了当时的时代性。但这些建立在自然、人、社会关系和地位基础之上的独特反思,蕴涵着丰富的社会发展方面的真知灼见,至今对于我们深入贯彻实施科学发展观仍具有一定的借鉴和启示作用。The main problem of social development is not to explore its importance ,but to seek the source of it. Explorations on the source of social development such as nature, human and material desires in ancient Chinese society are realistic thoughts with a particular historical context. It is the reflection of the times. But these unique reflections of the relation and the status among natural, human and society, have many rich insights of social development, and still are important reference and inspiration for us to thoroughly implement the scientific concept of development.
