摘　　要：由于高职公共英语教学改革,高职公共英语教师面临着教学理念、教学内容、教学方法等方面的巨大压力及挑战,在此情况下,高职公共英语教师应当更新教学理念,加强培训,改进教学方法来实现自身的职业发展。Because of the reform in the public English teaching of higher vocational education, the teachers are faced with enormous pressure and challenges in terms of teaching concept, teaching content and teaching methods. Under this circumstance, the teachers need to renew their teaching concept, take part in all kinds of training and improve their teach- ing methods to promote their vocational development.
